Customer Service Logistical Technician (driver)

Job Description:  Considered to be one of the KEY job positions in the company.  It is a position requiring personnel of the highest caliber; self-reliant and capable, careful, strong, friendly, courteous, reliable, considerate, helpful, excellent work ethics, and believes in customer care.   


  • deliver and pick up merchandises
  • load up trucks
  • unload products from pick ups
  • collection of payments
  • invoice corrections
  • handling customer returns & vendor returns
  • routing
  • satisfying customer requests
  • documenting delivery conditions
  • providing delivery suggestions



Minimum Qualification:


  • minimum 21 years old
  • a “C” licenses certification or higher or willing to train for a “C” certification
  • an “A” license for tractor/trailer position
  • clean driving record – is insurable
  • willing to submit to drug testing
  • has a medical card and/or is willing to obtain one
  • experienced in driving straight truck with GVW of 26,000lbs
  • high school education or equivalent
  • knows the major roadways in Greater Chicagoland area and/or knows how to read a map
  • has some foodservice (retail or wholesale) experience
  • able to lift at least 100lbs
  • self sufficient, has good judgment, and capable of thinking on your feet
  • current MVR from Secretary of State



Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday   9:00am – until finished, plus OT with ½ hour unpaid lunch.  A Saturday route may open for available drivers to earn additional hours.



Salary:  to be determined, but predicated on experience and driving record.
